It's a fact that servers occasionally fail. Until recently, this meant potential disaster; no emails received or sent, lost orders, untraceable instructions, sent reports that could not be retrieved; it threatened permanent data loss, with expensive consequences.
The recovery and continuity service from MSC automatically stores all sent and received emails in a secure, instantly accessible archive for up to seven days. This means that users can always access, compose and send emails, no matter what happens at server level, therefore avoiding expensive downtime.
Recovery is instant; users can use our 'instant replay' feature to immediately restore any inadvertently deleted mails, without involving the IT department. A back-up failure is no longer a concern, the administrator can simply re-deliver all emails received or sent, including attachments, up to the failure point.
There is no longer an acceptable reason for email downtime, every customer can take advantage of the benefits, including:
- Constant availability of email functions, 24/7/365.
- Easy and instant recovery of lost or deleted emails.
- Immediate, business-wide restoration of all emails in the event of a back-up failure.
- Total privacy and data security by encryption of all sent and archived emails.
- Minimal training thanks to the easy-to-use MSCmail interface.
How it works:
Users can logon to the secure MSCmail portal and re-deliver single or multiple messages from an encrypted archive of the most recent emails. This can avoid embarrassment if an email has been inadvertently deleted.
If your email server fails several hours after the last backup, you can re-deliver any emails up to the point of back up failure if necessary.
End-user experience:
Users or administrators can logon to the secure MSCmail web portal 24/7 and access all recent emails from a simple 'Web email client'. The client allows users to send (with attachments), and receive or retrieve emails from the encrypted MSCmail archive, whilst also composing emails during server downtime. The time saved will be dramatic; the end user has direct access to their deleted mailboxes, and therefore eliminates the need to involve the IT department.
