MSCmail provides an email cleansing service through the identification of and protection against malicious content sent via email. Any blacklisted content is immediately removed, refining all incoming messages to on average 20-30% of their original quantity. Any questionable emails, based on content or delivery address are suspended externally, which the customer may then review safely and approve or delete where necessary.

How it works:
MSCmail acts as a defensive barrier, protecting your email server and employees from online threats. All email is passed through multiple layers to detect spam, viruses and fraud. Threats are quarantined and only approved email is delivered to your email server. The entire process takes less than a second.

We apply a multi-layered approach to security, with a hosted platform comprised of many filtering engines. The layered approach mitigates the risk of failing to catch email borne threats, and with continuous monitoring, MSC will replace non-performing filters for improved solutions if necessary. In response to new threats as they arise filtering techniques have been developed as our understanding of how spammers operate increases. Deployment
A core advantage of MSCmail is the speed of installation. Emails are immediately redirected to pass through a mesh of secure international data centres courtesy of an MX-Record adjustment; automatically reducing threats to your organisation. If a data centre fails, the email will be sent onto a replacement centre to ensure security.

The end user experience:
MSCmail offers effective anti-spam, anti-virus, and anti-phishing filtering with few false positives. From an external perspective, there is nothing different about email transmission and retrieval procedures. With MSCmail, managing the database of email contacts is painless because our system is self-learning. Users periodically receive a report email listing messages which have been quarantined, this junk-box summary report is html formatted links next to each blocked email, enabling them to retrieve an email by simply clicking 'unjunk' if necessary.
